Welcome to Barton Elementary School—where joy, belonging, and academic excellence come together every day. At Barton, we believe that school should be a place where every child feels seen, valued, and supported to reach their highest potential. Our community is built on relationships, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to our students’ success.

Our vision guides our work:

This means we intentionally create learning environments where students experience challenge and care. We honor students’ identities, cultures, and lived experiences as strengths. We encourage curiosity and creativity. We work together with families, staff, and community partners because we know that our students thrive when we are unified in purpose.

As we move forward this school year, our focus remains on ensuring consistent high-quality instruction, fostering a sense of belonging for all members of our school community, and celebrating the growth and achievements of every student. We believe deeply in every child who walks through our doors, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us.
